Touching up scrape on resin head. Suggestions?

Recently my Textile Doll suffered a small scrape on her nose (she fell forward in the closet where I keep her and hit the door; yes, I know that I should have removed the head in storage, but I didn't). Does anyone have have any recommendations as to what paint would be appropriate to use and how to...

Re: Lulu

I agree that Textile Dolls look better when dressed as the breast stitching isn't that alluring. On the plus side, unlike with TPE dolls there really isn't an issue of staining so I typically keep mine dressed. I also had a problem with some of the nails coming off, but I superglued the ones that di...

"Duck Face" as in pouting. I see. I was thinking maybe somebody had a Daisy fetish (hey, there are cat girls, so why not duck girls?)

Re: Logistics questions

Yeah, from ordering to possession, about that. Yuri sometimes has completed dolls for sale because a buyer fell through or something, but normally he creates each one as they are ordered.

Re: Logistics questions

At least my Textile Doll (ordered last September) took roughly a month and a half until it was ready (although Yuri had another doll he was working on so it wasn't just mine in this time), and about a week and a half shipping from Latvia to the US.

Amalija - My Textile Doll

A couple of weeks ago my Textile Doll arrived from Latvia. As you know in this forum, these are hand made by Yuri and each one is unique in its way rather than being a set product. I decided to call her Amalija as that is a Latvian name. She is a 165cm "Big Bertha" Body with custom smaller...

Re: Sewing (machine) thread

I also have a Singer Simple 3232 (so far just for repairing my own clothes, although doll clothes are an interesting future project). It reminds me of my mother's machine from the 1960s, although as stated it is mostly plastic rather than the metal construction back then. It seems fine for most simp...

Yes, I think she turned out quite nicely. This is the doll that Yuri recently completed for me and which will be shipped soon.
