Re: Will my doll be safe in 25-35c temperatures?

Speaking from experience with extreme heat (115F +) The most common issues I've had with the TPE doll I had in the extreme heat was minor tears at joints bent too much. Knees bent in a sitting position (90 degree angle) can cause tears at the back of the knee. If you do leave them in the heat do so ...

Re: Is Mistress love dolls a scam site?

Decided to order one and everything has been great so far. The body is good and the face is better than the pics. Just go in with realistic expectations. The dolls are cheap in price so you're going to have some issues. With this one there were the holes that will allow water to get in so you'll hav...

Re: Fabric Anime Doll breakdown and skeleton

When the time comes to completely replace Mina's foam I was thinking of going with a nice dense core of cushion foam with some concentric layers of thinner foam and batting. Some sanding and sculpting would be needed along the way. A more pressing concern is cleaning the skins. I've made Mina's oute...

Re: Fabric Anime Doll breakdown and skeleton

I didn't realize they used a molded foam core. I thought the dolls were just carefully stuffed. No wonder they have such a good shape to them. Trying to DIY a plushy doll using loose foam and have it come out like a factory foam doll would be a challenge. You could just go with layers and a bit of ...

Another point to note is the Allen Wrench bolts on the hip area.
Those tighten and loosen for leg rotation.

Re: Fabric Anime Doll breakdown and skeleton

Final Observation This is a very easy to own doll. It is lightweight and easy to pose. Versatile in its role as a toy or companion. Fun to get dressed and easy to maintain compared to TPE dolls. The skeleton is lightweight and the design of the hips and shoulders with the ridged plates makes it easy...

Re: 130cm Fabric Anime Repair and Maintenance Log

I have a series of pictures taken breaking down the doll layer by layer with closeups of stitches and placements of padding. All highly detailed and fairly well lit.
Once I find the cable to move them from my camera to my PC I'll edit them and get them ready to post.

Re: Tpe peeling after heat repair

It sounds like a cheap knock-off doll, the pictures lean towards confirming this too. The low detail on things and the color being "off" in places and generally very basic design. Almost like it wasn't fully detailed before shipping and an older model. Don't get me wrong, this is not a bad...

Re: 130cm Fabric Anime Repair and Maintenance Log

Alright, it's happened! The fabric body has been broken down layer by layer. Many pics taken and notes being made. Details on design and construction and ease of maintenance. Gotta say I'm pleasantly surprised by a lot of what I found. Right now I'm cleaning up the skeleton for more detailed and cle...
