Well, let me tell you. Go look at the EXDOLL site (parent site for DS) and be amazed at what is being offered. I used some watercolor pencils and was able to get some nice blended flesh tones, although kind of like makeup it wears off, but I really don't want it permanent.

Looking at the website pictures closely, and especially the seams and wrinkles where it bends, it reminds me exactly of a nerf football, which is also made out of polyurethane foam. Also from the pictures, I don't think it will hold a pose easily on its own, and the plastic skeleton is there to keep...
