Not to worry Tewhano, I found out the hard way too. Stains do fade in time.
Ami wears a wig of some description all the time so I don't worry about the faint stains on her noggin, as long as I can't see them.

A steel spoon will not transfer the amount of heat required to melt TPE with an electric soldering iron. Even getting a spoon hot enough to smooth TPE requires a fair bit of heat. I use a chef's butane blowtorch to heat spoons. More recently I have been using a leather iron. Perfect for smoothing. L...

Just a note about the leather iron, my one had a 'brushed' finish on the ironing face. They needed to be polished out so I could get a good finish.
Same with a spoon, give it a polish first. Clean them regularly whilst you are using them, stops dirt getting into the repair.

I've always liked bras, for me, they add to the allure.
