Re: Nipples

I have used those same nipples on my MQ. There is a product used in model displays. I think it is called ticky tack. It is mainly a sticky paste which can be removed with soap and water and did not damage them. dept 56 does carry the item. I have seen it in other stores as well. Good luck. I have t...

Re: The Tiffany Project - Posable Mannequin Upgrades

Can't wait to see your's all finished. I'm still working on mine too lol Will she ever be really finished? At the moment, she has been finished... in the sense that she is functional . If you want a real doll experience at an MQ price, this is the way to go... IMHO. Some basic mods are required, bu...

Re: Nipples

I am leaning more towards the silicone side. I thought about molding them over-top of the original surface, but getting them to taper out at the edges seems a little tricky. Adding color is is another hurdle.

Nipples

My MQ, and I'm sure there are others out there, lack anything resembling nipples. I tried using these... http://www.thebreastformstore.com/nipples-amolux.aspx ...but the nipples surface were too flat and my MQ has a lot of shape. They wouldn't stick. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would prefer ...

Re: The Tiffany Project - Posable Mannequin Upgrades

So I took my 'mod hole' to home depot to get the color scanned for some touch-up paint. She said the sample had to be at least the size of a quarter. I busted off a couple pieces before I went there, but none of them were the size of a quarter. So I handed her a slightly mangled circle of a cutout. ...

Re: Eyeball modifications?

Hey there Krule World. I too was thinking about installing realistic looking eyes. I was also thinking about a "door" opening in the back of the head. I am curious as to how you created your "door". Could you post any pics about that?

Thanks for posting.

Re: The Tiffany Project - Posable Mannequin Upgrades

Lets face it, MQ's can be a lot of work. Since they are not built for "fun" and cost a fraction of higher end dolls, chances are you will be making lots of modifications that can be unique to each doll. This one should work well with most MQ's. Hands can be loose and tend to move around an...

Re: Anyone Have This Flexible/Posable Fiberglass Mannequin?

Yes, I've had it. Wasn't very happy with it. The screws came loose and got lost, rendering the mannequin useless after a few f--ks. Sorry your experience was not what you expected , but I am very happy with mine. I completely removed the bolts and the steel bar. I kind of expected this project was ...

Re: The Tiffany Project - Posable Mannequin Upgrades

Hey msdoll, nice job and very nice presentation!  Sorry to hear you were sick man. Hope you're feeling better now. The only thing I'm a bit unclear on is the metal bars (9). Are those related to the bolts that go thru the butt to hold the leg pins? BTW, that conical file bit ...

Re: The Tiffany Project - Posable Mannequin Upgrades

After shortening the metal bar and the inserts on the legs, there is nothing to hold them in. This following modification addresses that issue, which is a better situation than what I started out with. Before, the hips could not move freely, because they had to be locked in by tightening the bolts. ...

http://www.dollalbum.com/dollgallery/albums/userpics/14598/normal_2.jpg 9 ) These are the steel bar portions that I cut off using the mini hacksaw. They have bolts in them, but can easily be replaced using a long steel drill bit, epoxy, and realignment. 10 ) Another rough cut angle. 11 ) Cleaned up...

Re: The Tiffany Project - Posable Mannequin Upgrades

Sorry for the lack of updates on this project, but I was pretty sick for a couple weeks. I have finally started to make modifications to Tiffany. The most important issue being tackled first is the sexual modification. http://www.dollalbum.com/dollgallery/albums/userpics/14598/normal_1.jpg Tools - V...
