So, I had the crazy idea to take out the screw and try using a rivet to pin the shoulder joint onto the body. But it failed. I couldn't get a straight angle so the softer part of the rivet cut itself in half on the harder metal of the joint. Back to the drawing board.

No, you can't take off the skin of any of the anime dolls. There's a lot of stitching in the ass area that would have to be removed to take it off. Unless you want to remove and sew back on the stitching on the ass crack every time you want to wash it, there is no way to take off the outer skin!
