Zarnon, I'm sorry about your B4. I'm not 100% postitive but I'm pretty sure Abyss switched over to platinum silicone in early 2009. Try giving Abyss a call and see if they can let you know if your B2 was made with platinum silicone.

I'll vouch for that type of brush/applicator too. I've been using that type for quite a while. Its very effective and hardly spills any powder.

Notmyname explained it very well. I use the new version with my doll. The new platinum silicone is pretty good stuff. but If you want more peace of mind, (this is what I would do) get 3" or so of memory foam to put on top of your bed.
