Since you have met her in person, what would you say which skin tone is her real one?

I could take the easy way out and just say all of them

, since its all photos of her, just in different lighting conditions, but that wouldn't help others much, now would it?

Ok, to the best of my capability and memory of your lovely Lady here goes: 338, 304, 308, 325 in order of most resemblance first.

That was on a calibrated graphics monitor that is not overly bright, most folks out there will have no calibration and usually a much brighter base value and most likely also a shift towards the blueish and it is assuming your jpgs are in the sRGB colorspace, but I hope it may help a bit anyway.

After shooting the images with the orange flower, Aung started a discussion; she meant that photos of a woman with a flower are too cliché. She became quite agitated whan talking. I just kept shooting…

I'm continuing to explore the "Brown" skin tone, and this particular DS168-B starts to develop into a character.

Yes, it's the default skin tone "brown", though the light can play tricks with this skin tone (similar with tanned TPE dolls like Mandos' photos of 1AM's Angel doll).

Also for consideration: What do you use for powdering? White powder (like cornstrach) will lighten up the skin tone. I tried cocoa powder to further darken it; it smells nice, but gets a bit messy easily, and it might not be safe with silicone.

Heads… that was the toughest decision

DS has no african or indian head sculpts yet, so I went for the closest matches for a certain type I had in mind; I was after resemblance with the women from Darod tribe, Somalia, known for celebrities like Waris Dirie, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, and Iman. Long story short, I went for Emily and Alisa. I'll introduce them later…

PS: Never judge darker skin tones just by one set of images. It is impossible. The skin tone will change with ambient light and direction of lightning continously. For these images I just wanted a dark skin. But she is flexible and can have a light tan as well

@vinoski: Doll Sweet has become quite virtuos with silicone paint, so they might be quite capable of doing darker nipples. Though I haven't seen such a customization yet and it should be discussed with DS before ordering.

She's rather an African brown rather than a tanned. What DS heads do you think work well with this colour?

Hi,

Doll Sweets with brown skin tone seem to be extremely rare, at least there are almost no pictures available. After running across this body details comparison I got curious and ordered one. Three weeks later she arrived, and here she is: Proudly presenting Doll Sweet 168 in brown skin tone (front), and in the background, a Doll Sweet 168 in lpink skin tone:

I think it was worth the waiting. Actually I'm pretty much blown away. This body is hot! At least I do like her

Before I had seen her in reality, I've been very unsure how the body makeup would look on the dark skin; first I ordered a set of silicone samples and finally decided to do without plastic finger nails. I think it was the right decision…
